Hula

Rehearsals: We are a Christian-based hula group led by Sally Handley, who has danced hula professionally for many years and finds Christian hula the most fulfilling. Our group typically dances during services on major Christian holidays, as well as on special occasions such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, birthdays, and other celebrations. We practice using instructional videos sent to participants by email, and rehearse on select Sundays before church services. It’s a lot of fun and a meaningful form of worship. Everyone is welcome to participate, and beginners of all ages are encouraged to join.

The phrase “Many hands make light work” is especially true for hand chimes! We are a lively group of musicians with a wonderful library of music already established at Kihei Lutheran. All we need are more hands to play. Experience playing an instrument is helpful but not required—we’ll teach you everything you need to know. So be brave, come ready to learn, and enjoy making music with a fun and dynamic group of people. Join us and be part of the joyful music ministry at KLC!

Rehearsals: 8:15 – 9:15 a.m. on Sunday morning before the 9:30 a.m. service from September through Pentecost Sunday (end of May).
The KLC Adult Choir is a warm and vibrant group of singers who share a love of music, fellowship, and faith. We sing a wide variety of music that reflects the spirit of our church community and the joy of worship.
