Ohana Strong
Council representative: Laura McClellan – la.mcclellan@icloud.com (505)412-9427
Members: Laura McClellan, Stefanie Cuomo
Ohana Strong (See the Ohana & Keiki Exchange page) is quite an event that takes place the first Saturday of every month at KLC between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. People from all over the island come to this free event, bringing what they can to be given away and taking what they need. It takes a lot of volunteers to set up the sanctuary, sort clothing, check people in and out, and finally, prepare the church again for Sunday worship.

Prayer Chain
Contact: Cate Evert – klc@kiheilutheran.org (808) 879-7979
KLC has a team of prayer warriors ready to pray for any of the special needs or difficult times that may come up for our members and friends, their families and their friends. Whatever the needs, surgery, illness, loss of a loved one, or simply a difficult time, send an email or call the office with the name and reason. If you prefer, just give the first name of the person in need of prayer.
Cate sends an email to her list of prayer warriors and the prayers start to flow.
You can be involved by contacting Cate to be on the prayer warrior list.
