Prayer Shawl Hui
Description: The Prayer Shawl Hui meets weekly to knit or crochet shawls, to pray for each other and our congregation, and to support the Kihei Lutheran Church ‘ohana and wider community. Shawls are given as gifts to anyone in need—whether facing challenges or celebrating joyful moments. They are also mailed across the continent and around the world.
New people are always welcome! You don’t have to know how to knit or crochet – we’ll teach you if you want to learn. Supplies are provided. If you’d like to join us, feel free to just drop in.
Meeting Place and Time: October-May, Thursdays, 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary.
June-September: meets about once a month – contact Hilary Glassel for time and dates: hilary.glassel@gmail.com
