Congregational Council
The primary purpose of the KLC Congregation Council is to provide leadership and guidance for the church’s mission and ministry, including the planning, implementation, and evaluation of its activities. The Council serves as the governing body, overseeing various aspects of the church’s life and ensuring alignment with its vision and goals.
At Kihei Lutheran Church, the Council meets on the third Tuesday of every month. Membership consists of up to 12 congregation members who are elected annually. Council members attend monthly meetings and also serve as liaisons or committee members for one or more KLC committees, as outlined in the KLC Constitution.
If you are interested in serving on the Congregation Council, please let the KLC administrative assistant know of your interest. For a list of current Council officers and members, please contact the church office at klc@kiheilutheran.org.
